Fat transfer

The transfer of fat from one area of the body to another is a delicate and technique driven procedure. Survival of the fat cells depends on careful atraumatic harvest, fastidious preparation of the fat cells and stratified injection into a well vascularised target bed.

Professor Deva has utilised fat grafting for both cosmetic and reconstructive cases over his 10 years of practice with good results. This procedure is performed in hospital as day surgery and may attract a health fund rebate if used to treat post traumatic or congenital deformity.

You may well require up to 3 treatments interspersed over 6 months to achieve your final result.
